Most accommodations are balconied (~85% of all), each fitted with a floor-ceiling sliding door opening onto a private step-out veranda. The boat has 3 single cabins, only 1x handicaped cabin (wheelchair-accessible ADA stateroom designed for passengers with disabilities) and no connecting rooms. The largest accommodations are located forward on Deck 4 - Sky Suite (425 ft2 / 40 m2) and Grand Suite (550 ft2 / 51 m2), with sizes including their terraces. These staterooms (2x Grand and 4x Sky) are two-room suites with separate living room and bedroom (both with direct terrace access, 2x TVs), dining area, marble bathroom (double-sink vanity). ACL American Liberty has 5 passenger decks (4 are accessible via two midship elevators) and a total of 56 staterooms.
Liberty of the Seas has become a favorite cruise ship of so many cruisers, especially those who live close to the ship's homeport of Galveston, Texas. Passengers aboard the ship are mostly Americans and are evenly distributed across families with kids, seniors, couples and small groups (think family reunions, social clubs and the like) traveling together. All of this goes to show that Carnival is listening to and responding correctly to their passengers' desires for options in dining, activities and overall experience. No ship or sailing is without fault, but as far as value goes, there's not much Carnival is getting wrong on this one. At every dining venue the staff is attentive and courteous, doing everything they can to make your time on Liberty worth every penny and every second.
